An addonexus is a creature of lore originally human at birth, but born when the Halley's Comet is in the sky, becoming gifted with abilities after they exit the womb: with a substance infused in their blood that holds magical properties.
Addonexus' age about 3 times slower than normal humans, so if the actual age of one was 45 they would look 15. They are only capable of living 75 years because they will die on the day Halley's Comet comes again.
The reveal of their powers usually coincides with puberty, around 12 or 13. At this age, they can begin to control pure energy, elements of light and shadow and the way their bones grow, thanks to the magical substance in their blood. They can also heal physical wounds and see people’s auras, determining their emotions.
